Into the Water

„Julia, it’s me. I need you to call me back. Please, Julia, it’s important…”

In the last days before her death, Nel Abbott called her sister.

Jules didn’t pick up the phone, ignoring her plea for help.

Now Nel is dead. They say she jumped. And Jules has been dragged back to the one place she hoped she had escaped for good, to care for the teenage girl her sister left behind.

But Jules is afraid. So afraid. Of her long-buried memories, of the old Mill House, of knowing that Nel would never have jumped.

And most of all she’s afraid of the water, and the place they call the Drowning Pool…

W ostatnich dniach przed śmiercią Nel Abbott zadzwoniła do siostry.

Jednak Jules nie odebrała telefonu, ignorując jej prośbę o pomoc.

Na dodatek teraz Nel nie żyje. Mówią, że skoczyła. Jules wraca do miejsca, z którego miała nadzieję uciec na dobre, po to by zaopiekować się nastolatką, którą zostawiła jej siostra.

Ale Jules się boi. Tak bardzo się boi. O swoje dawno pogrzebane wspomnienia, o stary Mill House, a także o świadomość, że Nel nigdy by nie skoczyła.

A przede wszystkim boi się wody i miejsca, które nazywają Tonącym Basenem…
