Sense and Sensibility
          "Sense and Sensibility" is the unforgettable tale of two delightful but very different sisters in search of desirable husbands In the end – one of them marries for love, the other makes the sensible marriage. It’s one of the greatest classics from Jane Austen, author of Pride and Prejudice or Emma. 
          The story revolves around Elinor and Marianne, two daughters of Mr. Dashwood by his second wife. They have a younger sister, Margaret, and an older half-brother named John. When their father dies, the family estate passes to John, and the Dashwood women are left in reduced circumstances. The novel follows the Dashwood sisters to their new home, a cottage on a distant relative’s property, where they experience both romance and heartbreak. The contrast between the sisters’ characters is eventually resolved as they each find love and lasting happiness. This leads some to believe that the book’s title describes how Elinor and Marianne find a balance between sense and sensibility in life and love. 

Pride and Prejudice

This opening of Jane Austen’s ever-popular novel sets the tone of her sparkling comedy of manners and morals. 
          There are five daughters in the Bennet family and marriage is the only career open to them. There is naturally much excitement when two young gentlemen of good fortune move into the district. But before there can be a happy ending, Mr Darcy must conquer his great pride and Elizabeth Bennet – her prejudices against him. "Pride and Prejudice" is still one of the most popular novels read by women all over the world. 

Emma
          Emma Woodhouse, a handsome, wealthy, rather vain young woman, lives with her meek, hypochondriacal father at Hartfield. Claiming to be immune to the charms of any man, Emma takes great pleasure in meddling in the romantic affairs of others – often with disastrous consequences. 
          In particular there is Harriet Smith, a pliable young girl greatly influenced by Emma. Emma urges her to be ambitious and turn down Robert Martin’s proposal of marriage in favour of attracting the superior attentions of Mr Elton; or possibly Frank Churchill. But it is only when Harriet oversteps the mark and admits her feelings concerning the noble Mr Knightley, that Emma realizes what a dangerous game she has been playing.
