Eva Bereton has three close friends: Patsy, Bill and her mother. When both her parents die, her uncle throws her off the farm she believed was her parents. With Patsy, she starts a new life. Things start to look up for them until Eva arrives in Blackburn where her past mistakes rise to haunt her.
