Rachel had been told that her husband had been having an affair. Much as he liked to deny it, Daniel, for reasons of his own, could not. Although Rachel insisted that he leave her the house and their three children, Daniel adamantly refused. He adored his kids and was still very much in love with his wife. 

          To save their marriage, he was determined to take whatever punishment she chose to dish him and slowly win back her love and trust. Could it be that it’s too late, for Rachel now had an admirer….Could she ever forgive him? This is one of Reid’s best. A tearjerker in some parts, the story describes very credible circumstances and explores such depth of emotion! It had me rooting for Rachel and Daniel in turn. I could not put the book down and read it in one sitting. I’m sure I’ll enjoy a re-read sometime.
