At 17, Katie Byrne and her best friends, Denise and Carly, share a passion to act and plan to move to New York after graduation. One day, Katie’s early departure from their daily after-school acting rehearsals saves her from a brutal attack on the other girls. Denise is dead and Carly is in a coma. 

          Ten years later, the murderer is yet to be found, Carly remains in a coma and Katie is still haunted by the tragedy of her friends. She’s driven to achieve success and stardom, not only for herself but for her two friends. She gets a starring role in a Broadway play but she must face the demons of her past before she can embrace the possibilities of the future.
