          A menagerie of interesting characters surround the High Lord; a good-intentioned, inept court wizard, a soft-coated Wheaton dog who is court scribe, two sharp-toothed kobolds, and a beautiful woman who spends some moonlit nights as a willow tree. With their aid, Ben tries to govern a land where prism cats abound, a witch continuously plots revenge, and a grumpy dragon flies the skies in search of prey. All the novels are fantastic reads!
