When Ted Kramer’s wife walks out, he is left with all the worldly goods he could want: a high-flying job he knows backwards, and a son whom he hardly knows at all. Over the next few bewildering months Ted and Billy become friends for the first time as the father enter’s his child’s world. Priorities change, material wealth becomes insignificant, as they learn to love one another.
