Book description
The book is designed to make it possible, either before a service or at some point within it, to read out something about the Saint who is to be commemorated. The brief account of the lives of over one hundred Saints appear in Calendrical order. In addition, where a particular life runs to more than one paragraph, a short summary is given at the end of the entry. The Index not only lists all the commemorations but also many of the other Saints mentioned in the text, to help those who use the volume as a book of reference.
