Book description
WHERE TO GO IN GREECE is an easy-to-read guide to the islands and mainland centres, containing a wide range of travellers’ advice based on the author’s personal impressions.
In addition to detailed descriptions and maps, the book features a critical comparison chart of 80 islands. Each island is rated for beaches, scenery and amenities. Similarly, a guide to the classical centres is combined with a site rating guide, covering subject matter, setting and local attractions. Accommodation, food and wine, transport and many other features that have changed in recent years (written in 1992) are also described by the author.
