Stevie has accustomed to her widowhood. She now draws emotional strength and satisfaction from her work and family. She’s a manager of a famous jewelry business. 

          Then an unexpected act of violence committed on the other side of the world plunges her into turmoil and despair. In order to save her daughter’s life, she has come back to a relationship which ruined her life in the past. In the struggle that follows, Stevie comes to an understanding how fragile life is and how easily it can be changed when we least expect it.
