Book description
“The Magician’s Nephew” was the sixth book C.S. Lewis wrote about Narnia. It was intended as a prequel to the series, chronicling events that took place before “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” so many readers choose to begin reading The Chronicles of Narnia with “The Magician’s Nephew”.
Digory and Polly meet and become friends one cold, wet summer in London. Their lives change when Digory’s Uncle Andrew, who thinks he is a magician, sends them to… somewhere else. They listen to Aslan’s song as he creates the enchanted world of Narnia, full of sun, trees, flowers, grass and animals. They also encounter the evil sorceress Jadis.
