           As the Shadow of Mordor grows across the land, the Companions of the Ring have met many challenges and took part in many adventures. Aragorn, revealed as the lost heir of the ancient Kings, has joined with the Riders of Rohan against Isengard, and takes part in the desperate victory of the Hornburg. Merry and Pippin, captured by Orcs, escape into Fangorn Forest and where they meet the Ents. Gandalf has returned and defeated the evil Saruman. But the forces of the Dark Lord are already prepared for the final battle.
